ntroduced to yoga at a young age, Carly has been practicing yoga for most of her life. Growing up in rural West Virginia, yoga options were very limited.
Her practice began with old VHS tapes and over time transformed into teaching lessons to her classmates in high school. She spent the following decade working on her personal practice and in 2020 she completed her Teacher Training while 8 months pregnant.
Due to the pandemic she practiced most of her teacher training courses with her children in person while offering virtual classes to the public. With an educational background in psychology Carly set out to create an accessible and evidence based practice that focuses on improving mental wellness though a symbiosis of modern psychology and ancient yoga practices. Every class is designed to be trauma informed and accessible to all.
Carly is a Registered Yoga Teacher 200h though Yoga Alliance. She also holds her Brain Longevity Specialist certificate though the Alzheimers Research and Prevention Foundation.
It was created from the desire to take modern psychology and science and allow it to inform a yoga practice that maximizes the mental benefits that are scientifically proven to be attainable with a consistent yoga practice. Using modern psychology and scientific research, each lesson is carefully curated to provide students with the tools necessary to cultivate a deeper physical and mental well-being.
